This article deals with the examination of the role of metaphysics in the understanding of Quran and Sunnah and the problems related to them. This study is fundamental، historical and analytical which is a library based research based on reliable sources. The results shows that in Avicenna’s view the best understanding of hermeneutics and religious texts (Quran and Sunnah) is done by the interpreter. He believes that this is the interpreter who uses his presuppositions to understand the views of the author or the religious texts. In this article، we are going to identify the metaphysical assumptions of Avicenna to understand the issues related to the knowledge of origin and return، cosmology، eschatology، and prophetology. By understanding these presuppositions, he has gained results that do not concur with a superficial view of religion. <strong>چکیده</strong> «ابن‌سینا و نقش متافیزیک در هرمنوتیک دینی»، یک بررسی میان‌رشته‌ای است که بین دانش متافیزیک، هرمنوتیک و متون دینی (کتاب و سنّت) ارتباط برقرار می‌کند. مسئلۀ این مطالعه، نقش متافیزیک در فهم کتاب و سنّت و معضلات مربوط به آن است. این مطالعه بنیادی، تاریخی، تحلیلی است که به‌روش کتابخانه‌ای با استفاده از منابع معتبر انجام شده است. یافته‌های این پژوهش، این است که به‌نظرِ ابن‌سینا نفش اصلی در فهم و هرمنوتیک کتاب و سنّت نه با متن و نه با مؤلف متن، بلکه با مفسّر متن است. به‌نظرِ او مفسّر متن تنها با پیش‌فرض‌های عقلانی خود قادر به نزدیکی به افق مؤلف و افق متن دین می‌شود و از آن تفسیر و فهم شایسته از متن پیدا می‌کند. ابن‌سینا با پیش‌فرض‌های متافیزیکی در فهم مباحث مربوط به مبدأشناسی، جهان‌شناسی، فرجام‌شناسی، نبی‌شناسی وارد جریان فهم متن شده است. او براساس این پیش‌فرض‌ها به نتایجی دست یافته است که با نگرش رسمی از ظاهر متن دین هم‌خوانی ندارد؛ ولی با این حال او راهکار خود را از فهم دین، راهکاری بایسته می‌داند. https://mph.ui.ac.ir/article_22424_ca90439d1d581d14329522cd03bf9031.pdf
