Whereas ordinary language philosophers emphasized the preservation of natural language and its constraints, and ideal language philosophers sought to avoid reliance on conceptual entities altogether, conceptual engineering endeavors to move beyond such limitations by drawing on the flexibility of concepts and the possibility of reconstructing conceptual frameworks. Instead of being bound by inherited linguistic structures, conceptual engineering focuses on revising or replacing our cognitive tools concerning epistemic, ethical, and social goals. The principal aim of this article is to examine the transition from the linguistic turn to the conceptual turn and to reassess the philosophical insights of Wittgenstein and Quine in this context - either as critical challenges or as sources of support for this transition. Although both philosophers maintain views that are, in various ways, restrictive toward concepts, their reflections on use, behavior, and conceptual change can be repurposed to advance the project of conceptual engineering. Thus, this paper outlines an alternative metaphilosophical vision - one that builds upon the legacy of linguistic philosophy while opening up new prospects for philosophy’s active role in reshaping conceptual schemes and, thereby, transforming the ways we think about the world. <strong>در این مقاله، می‌کوشیم تا با تمرکز بر فرافلسفۀ مبتنی بر مهندسی مفهومی، نشان دهیم این رویکرد در مقایسه با فرافلسفۀ زبانی، چارچوبی جامع‌تر و مؤثرتر برای تحلیل و حل مسائل فلسفی فراهم می‌آورد. برخلاف فیلسوفان زبانی که در شاخۀ فلسفۀ زبانِ روزمره بر پاسداشتِ زبان طبیعی و محدودیت‌های آن، و در شاخۀ فلسفۀ زبان ایده‌آل بر پرهیز از توسل به موجودیت‌های مفهومی تأکید داشتند، مهندسی مفهومی با تکیه بر انعطاف‌پذیری مفاهیم و امکان بازسازی نظام‌های مفهومی، می‌کوشد محدودیت‌های این‌چنینی فلسفۀ زبانی را پشت سر گذارد و در عوض، متناسب با اهداف معرفتی، اخلاقی و اجتماعی، بر ترمیم یا تعویض ابزارهای تفکر تمرکز کند. هدف اصلی این مقاله تحلیل نقش گذار از چرخش زبانی به چرخش مفهومی و بازخوانی نظریه‌های ویتگنشتاین و کواین در راستای نقد یا تقویت بنیان‌های این گذار است. اگرچه هر دو فیلسوف نگرش‌هایی محدودکننده نسبت به مفهوم دارند، بصیرت‌های آنها، به ‌ویژه دربارۀ کاربرد، رفتار و تحول مفهومی، می‌تواند در خدمت پروژۀ مهندسی مفهومی قرار گیرد. به این ترتیب، مقالۀ حاضر کوشیده است فرافلسفۀ بدیلی را طرح‌افکنی کند که ضمن بهره‌گیری از سنت فلسفۀ زبانی، افق‌هایی نو برای نقش فعال فلسفه در تغییر نظام‌های مفهومی و در نتیجه، دگرگونی در شیوه‌های اندیشیدن به جهان می‌گشاید.</strong> https://mph.ui.ac.ir/article_29727_5e51efffe25f446993132043a95372c8.pdf
