Peer Review Process

The stages of judging, accepting and publishing articles in the A Research Journal on Metaphysics

  1- Announcing the opinion of the editor; (If the file is complete, the article will be sent to the editor to determine the level and degree of appropriateness with the subject of the journal, appoint a referee and finally after permission to enter the judging process.)

  If the editor's opinion on the mentioned cases is positive, the article will enter the next stage.

  If their opinion is negative, the article will be presented in the editorial session to determine the task and possibly issue a letter of non-acceptance.

  2- Controlling the article in terms of observing the items mentioned in the style and format of the publication; (If there is a defect in the files and the publication format is not observed, the article will be returned to the author to complete the items.)

  3- Sending to arbitration; (If the files are complete and the journal format is followed in full, the article will be sent to 3 or 4 judges at the same time.)

  4- Receiving the results of judging and sending them to the author for corrections;

If the result of 3 judgments is positive, the author can edit to make the corrections desired by the judges.
If the result is 2 positive judgments and 1 negative judgment, the author can edit to make the corrections desired by the judges.
If the result of 2 judgments is negative, the article will be presented to determine the status in the editorial session. If the opinions of the judges are approved by the editorial members, a letter of rejection will be issued.
 5- Receiving corrections and sending the article to the final referee; (If the files are complete and the items mentioned in the editing letter are observed, the article will be sent to one of the previous judges to check the final corrections.)

 6- Receiving the opinions of the final referee and presenting the article in the editorial session to announce the final opinion;

If the author's corrections are fully approved by the final judge, the article will be considered for admission in the editorial session.
If some corrections are not approved by the final referee, the article will be returned to the author. It is worth noting that this step is repeated only once. After the author's corrections, the article is sent back to the final referee for review. If the amendments made at this stage are still not approved by the final arbitrator, the article will be presented in the editorial session to determine the assignment and issue the non-acceptance.
 7- Placing accepted articles in the list of articles ready for publication;

 8- Publication of the article. (All articles are submitted to the responsible author after page layout and editing and before publication, to be done if any items need to be checked and changed, and finally, the author's approval for publication is obtained.)

Note: All correspondence is done with the responsible author and only the steps are briefly notified to other authors. Follow-up of all matters related to the steps and results of judging, time of editing, acceptance and publication of the article is done only by the author in charge of the article. The journal office is exempt from responding to other co-authors of the article.
