In our times, the discourse of power and othering has so dominated the relations of intersubjectivity that it has penetrated all strata of social, political, religious and even human life. The control of such power has become so widespread and complicated that it seems as if there is no other driving force in human life today than this. It seems that we are facing a kind of aporia in the definition of the Other and intersubjectivity relations, in which the relationship of the subject to the Other is still ambiguous and complicated. On this basis, it is necessary for new research to examine the relations between contemporary intersubjectivity and various aspects of other concepts with more seriousness and significance. Sartre and Merleau-Ponty are among the most important thinkers who have analyzed the relations of intersubjectivity and emphasized the position and role of otherness in these relations. The main claim and finding of the present research is that our relationships with others rely on a balanced tension between reflective and pre-reflective relationships, conflict and interaction, preserving individuality and dissolving boundaries between self-other. These tensions are just the inherent aspects of intersubjectivity relations before they are constructivist concepts that need to be resolved.
