چکیده

در وهلۀ اول به نظر می‌رسد که کانت درصدد تمایزگذاری جدی میان زیبایی و اخلاق است. این نکته را می‌توان از آنجا استنباط کرد که او در تحلیل امر زیبا بر حسب کیفیت، میان امر مطبوع، امر خیر یا اخلاقی و امر زیبا تمایز قائل می‌شود و اعلام می‌کند که لذت ناشی از امر زیبا نه برای ارضای تمایلات جسمانی ماست (مطبوع) و نه برای رسیدن به هدفی اخلاقی. از سوی دیگر کانت در برخی از فقرات نقد قوۀ حکم از نوعی ارتباط میان زیبایی و اخلاق سخن می‌راند. این نوشتار بر آن است تا با بررسی فقراتی که کانت در آن‌ها از ارتباط میان زیبایی و اخلاق بحث می‌کند، روشن سازد که چگونه می‌توان هم زیباشناسی را از اخلاق متمایز کرد و هم به رابطۀ زیبایی و اخلاق معتقد بود. پس از روشن‎سازی نحوۀ ارتباط، به این پرسش خواهیم پرداخت که چرا کانت چنین ارتباطی را ضروری انگاشته است. بعد از بررسی روشن می‌شود که زیبایی و اخلاق می‌توانند به صورت غیر مستقیم با همدیگر مرتبط باشند. اصلی‌ترین دغدغۀ کانت در مرتبط ساختن زیبایی با اخلاق، ایجاد پیوند میان آزادی و احساس است.

Abstract

At first glance it seems that Kant distinguishes beauty from morality because while analyzing the matter of beauty according to quality, he explicitly separates pleasure of beauty from pleasure of agreeable and pleasure of good; and believes that the pleasure of the beauty is neither to satisfy our physical desires nor to achieve a moral purpose. On the other hand, Kant speaks of a connection between beauty and morality in some sections of his critique of judgment. This essay intends to study the mentioned sections and clarifies how one can distinguish beauty from morality and simultaneously believes in the connection between beauty and morality. Following this, we are going to discuss why Kant deems such a connection necessary. Examining this matter, we will find out that morality and aesthetics can be indirectly related to each other. Kant's most major concern with regard to the connection between beauty and morality is the connection between feelings and foredoom.
